Elite Credit for every $3,000 spent.

Can anyone confirm if the Elite Credits earned for every $3000 spent applies to Marriott Premier credit cards used in Canada? This benefit is not listed when you view the details under the Canadian Card. If not, why not?

Does anybody know?
