I'm really confused about the policy, which essentially says they'll upgrade your room but there are no guarantees and absolutely no recourse if a property, rightly or not, decides to not honor this perk.
My experience at both Courtyards in Little Rock, AR after over four months of weekly stays is that there is no such thing as an upgraded room at a Courtyard. They may try to claim a room by the elevator (and ice machine that grinds loudly at 2am) is an upgrade, or that honoring my profile request for a high floor constitutes an upgrade, but really?
I know one of the Little Rock Courtyards is operated by McKibbon group, and the other appears to be corporate owned. Yet no difference in the indifference of FDCs when asked about upgraded rooms. And I'm not going to even get into the indifference in general of staff at both those properties. (That review will wait for after I'm done with my last stay there.)
